I try to be original, but this post isn't...
so, here are my favourite songs or albums of the past year,
(in no particular order)
go catch them
i hope you'll enjoy !

happy holidays and have a great year in 2008 !
great album, great lifestyle, rock on girl !

simply the best album of 2007...

in 30 years, we'll still listen to their songs.
i will for sure.
They will be the rolling stones of the 21st century !

Great album. Still refreshing.

The best tour of 2006-2007 ?

Ich bin ein berliner !

I (heart) you !

You don't know them, they're from belgium, they're really good, and they mix a lot of styles.
And their live shows are excellent !

No explanation needed, i guess...

Because I had to choose between him or 50...

because it's good.

Who doesn't love this song, please leave this blog.

She gets on my nervs. But this song is ... !

I really like this song !

"Radio(head) killed the music industry"

That's real pop music, like it should be.

Gossip is fun.
Soulwax is great.

Nothing special,
unless the fact that this song works like red bull on me !

Their old songs were very good. i liked them.
And this new album is even better, how's that possible ?!

Great girl, great songs & great style

a revelation !
and the whole album, made of bricks, is even better...

not a revolution, but something fresh from France. old rock 'n' roll by young kids, makes me happy.

bonus  :  Beirut - Nantes

Beautiful song...

see you next year (tomorrow...)

Luc Tuymans

Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West.
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever; I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

W. H. Auden
